FREEDOM OF ENTRY PARADE FUNCTION – MONTY BREWING CO
7th Signal Regiment will exercise their Freedom of Entry into the City of Toowoomba on 20 September 2025
This year marks 50 years since this privilege was granted to the unit. This year also coincides with Certa Cito 100, the 100th anniversary of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals.
In order to celebrate this occasion, 7th Signal Regiment will be hosting an informal function after the Freedom of Entry Parade.
- Details for this function are as follows;
- Location – Monty Brewing Co, 10481 New England Highway, Highfields 4352.
- Timings – The function will commence from 1200 h. 7th Signal Regiment has an area booked until 1700 h, however attendees are welcome to remain after this time.
- Attendance – This is a compulsory function for all 7th Signal Regiment Officers, Warrant Officers and SNCOs. Invited guests, former members of the unit and partners are warmly welcomed to attend.
- Dress – Current serving members are permitted to attend the function and consume alcohol whilst in uniform. Alternatively, all attendees are requested to wear smart casual attire.
- There will be a selection of finger food and platters available; however, any meals and beverages will be at the attendee’s expense
- The conduct of a Freedom of Entry Parade and attendance at a function afterwards present an excellent opportunity for 7th Signal Regiment personnel to represent the Army, Corps and Unit in the local community. It also enables 7th Signal Regiment to strengthen ties with veterans and former members of the unit.
