DFSS – Royal Australian Signals Corps Day Commemoration

The Defence Force School of Signals (DFSS) invites serving members and veterans of the Signals community to attend the Royal Australian Signals Corps (RASIGs) Day commemoration. This event will provide an opportunity for the Signals community in a socially relaxed environment recognise the conferring of the title “Royal’ granted by His Majesty King George VI to the RA Signals on 10 November 1948.
A variety of food and drink options will be available, including wood-fired pizza and a barbecue with plenty of tables and seating available.
A Signals display will also be set up, featuring historical and current equipment used by the Signals Corps. For those interested in learning more about the support organizations available to the Signals community, a variety of information stalls will be set up.
There will also be activities for children, including balloon animals, and face painting.
Access to Simpson Barracks will be via the Greensborough Rd entrance. Please park at the pass office to register with security and collect a visitors pass prior to proceeding to through the boom gates. Visitors will be required to produce an approved, government issued form of photo identification and be issued a base visitors pass. Please register via the TryBooking event no later than 04 Nov 24.
