Celebrate

In 2025, the Royal Australian Corps of Signals will celebrate a century of service by generations of Australians in war and peace, under the Certa Cito 100 banner. Celebrations will commence on 14 Feb 25 with a Corps Centenary Commencement Parade in Melbourne, followed by regional and unit events throughout the year. Certa Cito 100 celebrations will conclude in Corps Week, with a National Corps Day Commemorative Parade on 10 Nov 25 in Canberra.

Commemorate

The Royal Australian Corps of Signals has a long and proud history of service to our nation. Certa Cito 100, will commemorate and reflect on the history of the Corps, the legacy of those who have served before us.

Connect

Connect. While we celebrate and commemorate the Corps and the service of those over the past 100 years, we must also connect our veterans and serving members, families, and future generations who will carry the Caduceus forward.

On 14 February 1925, Australian Army Order (AAO) 71 was issued, stating, “Approval has been given for the Signal Engineer units of the Citizen Forces to be formed into a separate corps and designated the “Australian Corps of Signals”.

In 2025, RA Sigs will recognise its centenary year with a series of events and activities to commemorate and celebrate 100 years of the (Royal) Australian Corps of Signals, which reflects on our past, present, and future.

Events will be conducted throughout the year by RA Signals units across Australia.

The conclusion of the Centenary (Certa Cito 100) will occur in November 2025, with major events being planned for South East Queensland, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

The commemorations and celebrations will build esprit de Corps and foster linkages between serving and former serving members and their families (the Australian Signals Community), RA Sigs Associations and industry. The Centenary should also foster and enhance our relationship and linkages to sister Corps and units across the British Army, Canadian Army, New Zealand Army and the United States Army.
